In Tax Class Maintenance (29.1.5), you must create tax classes that correspond to each item tax code that you have created in your AvaTax Admin Console.

You must also use Item Master Maintenance (1.4.1) to assign a tax class to all taxable product items for which AvaTax will calculate taxes. See Product Items.
