Customer Scheduled Order Maintenance
Proof of Delivery
Available only when the POD functionality is enabled in Container/Shipper Control. This field determines whether Proof of Delivery is required for the shipments from this order.
When you create a scheduled order in Customer Scheduled Order Maintenance, the default value of this field depends on:
The Proof of Delivery field in Ship-To/POD Controls Maintenance when there is a record associated with the specified ship-to customer.
The Proof of Deliver Orders field in Container/Shipper Control when there is no associated record in Ship-To/POD Controls Maintenance.
Yes: POD is required on shipments from this order.
A POD-required order cannot be processed using Sales Order Shipments. You can only ship the order using Pre-Shipper/Shipper functionality.
The quantity to invoice for a POD-required order depends on the received quantity recorded on the POD. You cannot change the quantity in Pending Invoice Maintenance.
You cannot delete/archive shippers for the POD-required shipments until the corresponding POD is recorded in POD Maintenance.
For consignment orders that require POD, you cannot record usage or transfer inventory until the corresponding POD is recorded in POD Maintenance.
No: POD is not required on shipments from this order.
