Once you define the prefixes in Barcode Prefix Control, staff can scan tags using the prefixes.

For example, if you define a location prefix as L and staff scan the location RECEIPT without scanning the prefix, the RF displays an error message as shown in RF Scan Error Message.

However, if staff scan the prefix with the label by scanning LRECEIPT, staff can proceed to scan the item number without errors as shown in RF with Prefix Scanned.
