QAD QXtend Excelerator Release Notes

These release notes include information about the latest fixes and changes to QAD QXtend Excelerator. These changes may affect the way you implement and use the product.
Important: Review this document and the QAD QXtend Excelerator errata before proceeding with any phase of a QAD QXtend Excelerator implementation.
These release notes are cumulative, with the most recent changes described first. Review the notes for all releases after your currently installed release. Installation and configuration changes may have occurred in those intermediate releases, and unless otherwise noted, apply to the release where they were announced, as well as subsequent releases.
QAD highly recommends that you implement the latest QAD QXtend Excelerator release available. Check the QAD Web site to make sure that you have the latest QAD QXtend Excelerator release notes, installation guide, installation media, and errata information:

Support for Microsoft Excel 2016
The Excelerator client is now integrated with Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, and Excel 2016.

Previously, when importing CSV files, if the primary key of a row was a boolean and contained the default value (False), the CSV files were not imported correctly. This issue has been fixed.

Previously, data was prevented from loading when there was null data for integer, decimal, or date fields in top-level tables. Now you are prompted to choose to continue or cancel in this situation. If you choose to continue, the fields with null data (or empty for String fields) will not be added in the request QDoc.

Previously, when errors occurred while importing data from a CSV file, Excelerator could not update data to QAD EA even though the data was corrected and loaded in the spreadsheet. Now this issues has been fixed.

Excelerator can now process query and update array fields that contain decimal data that uses a comma as the decimal point.
