Performing a Delayed Installation
If you are running QAD 2016 EE without QXtend installed and want to install the latest QXtend version 1.8.8, follow these instructions:
1 Download the packages of QXtend 1.8.7 and QXtend 1.8.8 from the QAD Store or from QAD Release Fulfillment.
2 Move the files to a file system that is accessible from the UNIX host where your Enterprise Edition environment is installed.
3 Change to the directory where your Enterprise Edition is installed.
cd [directory]
4 Enter:
yab install [zip file] -install-update:false
For example:
yab install qxtend-bundled-1.8.7.11.zip -install-update:false
This command installs QXtend 1.8.7 on to QAD 2016 EE.
