Listeners cannot connect to the JMS queue using the high-availability port. Instead, they connect through the standard JNDI port 1099. This means they can only connect to the primary JBoss node. Configuration allows the listener to attempt a connection to SERVER1, and then—if that fails—to try to connect to SERVER2.
