SOA enables you to configure your system to send under-the-covers messages within PRECISION and to external systems. You can send requests to run compliance and to receive compliance results.

When creating shipments within PRECISION, you configure the SPS_SHIP message createshipment.xml to run compliance at shipment creation time. You can then access the shipment through workflow.

When using an ERP system to create orders and shipments, you can configure the COMPLY_SYNCH message CheckCompliance.xml to check compliance. The compliance results are stored in PRECISION and a message is returned to the ERP system.
