Multiple Products
To add multiple products to the shipment and to view the Add link at the bottom of the Product Details section, select this field.
Product Code
Specify the product code. Selecting a code using the lookup icon may populate other fields in this step with default values.
Product Description
Enter a description of the product.
Quantity
Specify the product quantity.
Weight
Specify the product’s weight. Your administrator can configure this field to accept values in pounds and ounces, or you may be able to select the unit of measure using a lookup icon.
Net Weight, Volume, Customs Value
Specify the product net weight, volume, and customs value.
Freight Class
A code that determines how the carrier handles the pack, and the associated rate cost structure. The code relates to shipment physical characteristics such as volume, density, and weight, along with other characteristics, including monetary value. Many carriers use the US-based National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc. (NMFTA) freight classification codes. Other carriers have their own set of freight classes. The freight class field is used for truck load (TL) and less than truck load (LTL) shipments.
Country of Origin
The product country of origin.
In Package
Choose the package number from the drop-down menu.
Customs Classification Group
Every country has a list of customs classification codes to categorize imported and exported goods, and to assign a customs fee to each item. These codes are compiled into a list, or group; for example, HTS is the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the US. Use the drop-down menu to specify the classification group applicable to this product.
Customs Classification Code
Specify the particular customs classification code that applies to the goods in this shipment.
Customs Classification Description
A description of the product. When you select a customs classification code, this field is populated automatically.
NAFTA Preference Criterion
If your goods fall under the terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), use this field. Specify the criteria under which the product qualifies for the agreement.
NAFTA Producer
North American Free Trade Agreement Producer.
NAFTA Net Cost
There are several ways to calculate NAFTA Net Cost; use the method approved by your organization.
NAFTA Country of Origin
The country of origin of the goods.
Domestic/Foreign
Specify whether the shipment is international or domestic.
Type of Export
Choose the export type from the drop-down menu. Temporary exports are exempt from customs charges when they meet certain criteria defined by the destination country.
Manufacturer, Serial Number, Model Number
Enter the details of the goods.
FCCID
Federal Communications Commission Identification. The FCC issues an FCCID for every communication device and computer that adheres to FCC standards. All communication devices imported to the US must have an FCCID.

Enter additional information in this field, if necessary.
If you want to enter information about more than one product, select Multiple Products and click Add. The product then appears in the Products section.
