The Equipment Downtime metric is based on the reason codes that explain why your equipment is not in operation. It shows all the equipment that has recorded downtime and also can help you asses the health of your data. If you have equipment listed that was down but has no reason specified, then you know people are recording downtime but not specifying why the equipment was not operational.

You can drill into the data by using the Break By option in the right-click menu, as shown in EAM Work Order Backlog Break By.

Equipment Downtime by Reason shows equipment downtime broken by reason.

The Name column displays the reason code, if one was entered. If a reason code was not entered into the system, then the Name column entry is blank but you can still click on the empty space where the code would be to view a browse with the associated downtime data.

Equipment Downtime Browse does not contain a Reason Code but you can still view the equipment number and the time the equipment was down.
