• Items requested on sales orders may not be available for customer delivery for a variety of reasons. The item may be obsolete and be replaced by a different item. It may now be sold as part of another item that includes it, known as an up-sell item. Or you may want to encourage the sale of a complementary product, known as a cross-sell item.
