Convert the Admin Database
If coming from MFG/PRO eB or eB2, follow these instructions to convert the administration database. For prior versions of the admin database, see
Dump GUI Database“.
1 Connect to the source admin database using the Progress editor.
2 Dump all the tables into the QAD Standard Edition conversion /dump directory (the existing dump files can remain). Exit the Progress editor.
3 Run MFG/UTIL and select File / Progress Editor.
Running in MFG/UTIL ensures the proper variables are set.
4 Type the following command:
RUN admconv.p
5 A pop-up window appears prompting for the target admin database location.
6 When utility finishes, “complete” appears.
