Creating Forecasts

You can create shipment forecasts using one of the following methods:

• Use the forecasting simulation functions to calculate item forecasts using sales history data and the forecast method you specify. See here.

• Use the CIM interface to load externally generated forecasts into forecast detail records in your database. See here.

• Use Forecast Maintenance (22.1) or Forecast Worksheet Maintenance (22.2) to manually enter forecasts. See here.

• Use Simulation-to-Simulation Copy (22.7.11) or Single Item Simulation Copy (22.7.12) to create new forecasts based on existing forecasts. See here.
