Overview
System values allow you to configure the appearance and behavior of the Web UI. For example, you can add and remove tabs and fields, make fields read-only, or make fields default to certain values. System values also allow you to make changes to the system, such as enabling permissions. You can configure system values at group level, client level, client/user level, and user level. You can also configure system values for specific servers or environments.
This chapter describes how to access and edit system values using the System Value Setup page, and shows you how to use system values on different environments. To find out more about individual system values for specific areas of functionality, see the relevant section of the Administration Guide or check the relevant tab in Appendix A on the QAD Document Library.
