Overview
The Inquiry functionality allows you to search for information on a specific transaction. You can search for different types of transactions, including shipments and orders, but this user guide refers to shipment inquiries only. Inquiry is often used by customer service agents when dealing with shipment queries. The Inquiry page is read-only, which means you cannot perform any operations on a shipment. However, you can view all details of a shipment and jump to another screen for further operations.
If you have factory settings, you open the Inquiry page on the left pane by choosing Base|Inquiry. Alternatively, in the main pane of the home page, click the Inquiry link. You can also enter the shortcut nq in the QuickPath option field and press Enter or click GO.
Inquiry consists of three screens. These screens correspond to the steps in any search:
1 Search allows you to enter search criteria and run an inquiry.
2 View Results displays search results in a table.
3 View Details allows you to click individual results to get detailed information on an individual shipment.
The numbers on the top right side of the page indicate the step you are on. The current step is peach, completed steps are orange, and later steps are white.
