Workflow describes a set of tasks performed on a shipment from the time it is created to its delivery to the customer. The set of tasks, or workflow, that you can perform on a shipment depends on your user profile.

In addition, some tasks need to be completed at a particular time or in a certain sequence. Therefore, workflow not only controls the tasks that you are allowed to perform, but also the sequence in which you can perform them.

As a user, you do not need to be concerned with the configuration of workflow. However, you do need to be familiar with the workflow screen.
