MS Outlook client on this system has no Profile configured.

Hi All.

The following error started showing up at a customer's CRM client. The customer indicates it used to work just right. Incident number is Q1028469 for reference.

"MS Outlook client on this system has no Profile configured for the Exchange Server Mailbox 'Rita Belterb24' mapped to your User ID in QAD CRM Mailbox Management Module. Please contact your System Administrator. (3067)."

The error seems straightforward the mapping was reviewed and it looks fine, though the error keeps showing up.

Customer is running CRM 6.6 / on Windows / 2011SE.

Please advise

Hi Daniel,

Could you kindly confirm the following:

1. Exact version of the CRM 6.6 i.e. including build no.

2. What is the version of MS Outlook and MS Exchange?

3. Do you see a mailbox management module in CRM ?
In 6.6x I believe it was removed and the mailbox is assigned to the user in Settings > Organization > Users > Exchange Server Settings tab. Which option has been used to verify that a mailbox is attached to a CRM user?

There exists the following:
Settings > Organization > Users > Exchange Server Settings tab

I am trying to find out where they checked that the mapping is fine.

Hi Raj, I talked to the customer and he showed me his CRM > Settings > Organization > Users > Exchange Server Settings Tab, on the image i shared the record for Rita Belter is is displayed.

1. Is there more than one Exchange mailbox configured for Outlook Profile
2. Is Windows OS 64 bit
1. There is only 1 profile configured in Outlook.
2. Windows is 32 bits.

I believe you have already verified that using MS Outlook you can login to "Rita Belterb24" mailbox and there is a profile configured for this mailbox in Outlook.

Suggest you try out the following:

1. Try clicking the "Test Account Settings" button for the logged CRM user in
"Settings > Organization > Users > Exchange Server Settings" tab. Make sure it's successful.


2. Try sending an email directly from MS Outlook by logging into Outlook using this profile configured and see if you can send emails successfully.

2. Check that the following dlls' are present and registered properly on client machine in <windows> system32 folder.
C:\WINDOWS\system32
ProfMan.dll
Redemption.dll

You could try re-registering the above dll's and see if that helps.
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 profman.dll
c:\windows\system32\regsvr32 redemption.dll

After this, you could restart the client and see if the problem is resolved.

If not, then we can look for further hints.

Update: NOTE! : Probably important NOTE at point #3.
1.- "Test Account Settings" is sucdessful.
2.- Rita Belter24 can send emails from MS Outlook
3.- The DLLs are not present. (NOTE.- There was a mistake Windows is 64bits not 32)
4.- It is not possible to re-register the dlls.
Please advise.

In case of 64 bit O/S you should look for profman64.dll and redemption64.dll and try re-registering them using the instructions sent earlier.
Close any open Outlook sessions and try sending the mail again from CRM and see if that helps..

Can i take the profman64.dll and redemption64.dll from a different machine?
I've looked for them without finding them.

Hi Daniel,

It should be OK to copy required files from the other machine and re-register.
Although, I would suggest to re-install the CRM weblient plug-in by running the file <crm_install_dir>\bin\qadcrm_webclient_client.exe on the machine where the problem is happening.

That way we can be sure that any other missing components will also get re-registered.

Hi Raj,
I already uninstalled / installed the CRM webclient plug-in but the DLLs did not get re-registered. I will take the DLLS from another machine and try to register them manually. Will keep you posted.

Could you confirm

1. whether MS Outlook is 32-bit or 64 bit please?

2. Also- whether you can locate multiple copies of qadcrm_webclient_client.exe on this machine. I am just trying to confirm whether you have multiple CRM webclient installs on the same machine?

Yesterday i had a connection with the customer, SUMMARY:

The Outlook profile on the client machine is called "Outlook", this profile is the only one and is pointing to "[email protected]"

At "CRM > Settings > Organization > Users > Exchange Server Settings" :
The email field is "[email protected]".
Clicking "Autodiscover" gets the value "Rita Belter24" in the Mailbox field
Test Account Settings passes OK.

The following:
SalesManagement> Addresses> All Profiles> Opportunities> Activities> Add> Email
shows the error when sending the email:

"MS Outlook client on this system has no Profile configured for the Exchange Server Mailbox "Rita Belter24" mapped to your User ID in QAD CRM."

We changed Mailbox field to "rbelter", ran "Test Account Settings" which resulted OK, then tried again and got the same error, but for "rbelter".

We also changed Mailbox field to "Outlook" (maybe this is silly), ran "Test Account Settings" resulted OK, then tried again and got the same error, but for "Outlook".

Because of above, i wonder if the Mailbox name is correct.
PENDING to find out:
Exchange server is 64 or 32 bits?
Are there multiple instances of qadcrm_webclient_client.exe ? ( I Will find out )
MS Outlook is 64 bits.
There is only 1 instance of qadcrm_webclient_client.exe at
C:\Users\rbelter\AppData\Local\WebClientApps\QAD Inc\qadcrm_prod_sc\bin

(Search shown below).
