Possible for prompt on RF scanner to ask to keep items status

I use QAD 2008 SE 2.9.4. I know in 3.4.1 (transfer - single item) a prompt comes up asking if you want to keep the status of the bin the item is coming from or adopt the status of the bin the item is transferring to. Is it possible to set up AIM to perform this function on an RF scanner?

In Warehouse Maintenance some default RF parameters can be set.

Note: in AIM you would typically have minimal "freedom" for users. The AIM end-users are in general "unskilled" users with no responsibilty and will do as they are told by "the system". This concept will not allow them to change any parameter, especially not inventory status!

The downside of this concept is that the Key user has to setup everyting perfect! If something goes wrong this is the responsibilty of the AIM key user!

This case: In the routing you have to decide upfront if the inventory moved will get the location status from the FROM or from the TO location. (:Keep from status" flag)

I noticed that option. The issue we have is there are times when an item is in transit to a distribution center the item must go on qahold. When it arrives, if the person doing put away is not told to be on the lookout for the particular item, they will pt away to an available bin instead of the qahold location. So the item is received into the dock location along with a bunch of other items. It can get lost in the shuffle.

Is there another way?
