EMT sales order status

Hi Alll,

We encounter lately issues with EMT sales order line status. With status I mean the value stated in transmission flag (EMT tracking report).

E.g. when sales order line #1 has flag 3 (Po back from supplier) and add new line this line at this stage (PO is still open) to the exisitng EMT PO also adopting the same flag.

In my view this is wrong because new line is not send yet and should have status 1 (PO created).

Discussed with Support already but this is standard EDI/EMT functionality. Flag status only maintained at header level.

Any remarks much appriciated.

If the PO is closed (because it is already received) and you add a new line to the SO, a new PO should be created. This is how it functions at our configuration. What QAD version are you using?

Hi Raymond, we are on 2015EE. The PO is not closed. Yes when creating new SO line new PO is created. Which is OK.

The issue is that status is not maintained on line level, Whereas line level status could be different than header status.

In our situation it works a bit different. If I have a Sales Order with two lines it is possible that one line is in a different status that the other. With your remarks I will pay some extra attention to our situation since I never noticed this.

This is true in our situation (7.15.11)
