Hello, I am facing an issue with Promise Date calculation.We have set up Promise Date Calculation in Sales Order Control and also Delivery Transit Time.

I have set up Customer Calendar (from Monday to Friday), but when entering an order (7.1.1 Sales Order Maintenance), the promise date is calculated without considering the calendar.

So for example due date on Friday, 2 days of DTT, the promise date is calculated to Sunday.

The expected result was to have promise date the week after, excluding the weekend.

Is there any way to let the system calculate the promise date excluding the weekend?

Hello Giorgia,

Promise Date calculation does not look at any calendars to adjust the date for non-working days.

That would require a piece of customization.

If you enter a shipping date in the sales order control file, this will set the default due date to today + shipping date. As far as i know, the due date of an order will use Working Calendar days. As a result the due date will be a working day. The Promise date will default to the Due Date and as a result, your promise date will be on a working day. Maybe this will help you get closer to the solution you seek.
