This is an incident from TRW. They just moved from QAD 2007 to QAD 2008 SE with the Brazil Localization package.

The issue is of the New release creation. The scenario is: Cumulative date as of 01/01/2013 Schedule Days = 180, Schedule Weeks = 0. When reaching 06/29/2013 beside calculating the Limit Date the system considers all existent schedules no matter what date, and starts re-bucketing. As there are no data the System in QAD 2007 remained with the actual data and created new release.

Now in QAD 2008 if one of both setup field are zero the new release is created empty because re-bucketing is executed.

This means that the last Cumulative date (days to today) should be less than the Companies schedule horizon? But if the Customer does not change that day how should we manage the release?

Apparently this different behavior has to do with ECO P504 that states re-bucketing was not done correctly. – Actually at this Customer it was never executed when they used QAD 2007.
