Sales Quotes put on Credit Hold

hi,

we are on 2013EE.

If I put a customer on Credit Hold, the Sales Quotes also get put on status "HD".

Is this right? Is there a way to ring-fence SQs out of the orders to be put on HOLD?

That is, that SQs are not updated if customer is put on Credit Hold.

You should check what system should do if a customer is on HD. Check if the values can be overwritten. 27.20.1.6

If the customer is on credit hold then the system will automatically put the quote on hold.  Same as if the Quotation takes them over their credit limit and the system is set to hold over credit limit.  However on the quote it is a meaningless field.  If the customer is on hold or over their credit limit when you release it then the Order would be put on hold even if the quote says hold or not.  In fact you cannot clear the HD setting on the quote.

So, if you take the customer off Credit Hold, how do you remove the "HD" on the Quote?

How can you reset the Quote to being active from being HD?

That was my point.  You cannot take the HD off the quote.  But as I said it is meaningless as the system ignores this flag on Quotes.

If you did want to remove it I would just create a very simple program that allows you to reset this to blank.
