yes, it is possible to receive pallets and break down in other units of Measure. NOTE: pick your STANDARD um carefully.

You will have to do some reading, luckely your example is almost literally described in the manual.

Thank you for the reply. Really appreciated. I will ready those parts in WMS maual mentioned in your reply.

This is not about receipt. The scenario is that there are two storage area,  pallet area and box area. Product inventory in box area is replenished from pallet area. But business users would like to do manual inventory transfer for the replenishment with replenishment request report other than perform replenishment tasks created by WMS. That's why I ask whether there is a way to break a pallet into boxes in one shot.

Steven, this is also a very common issue in WMS. In fact it is a variant of what is described. In WMS you can see inventory in mulitple UM's. the default um for the pallet area would be different then the one for the box area. Again, carefully choose the standard UM and the alternative UM. I think the deault UM (1.4.5) is box. The replenishment order should do what you ask. Good luck.
