As you rightly pointed out, CRM has not been verified on Windows 8. So we would not recommend installing it on Windows 8.

If there is a requirement to certify it on Windows 8, then since CRM uses a no. of third party controls, the behavior of those controls will also need verification on Windows 8 before we can officially certify it.

Hi Raj, thanks for your comments. I just wanted to let know that same customer installed CRM webclient on a brand new laptop using windows8 and it is running just fine. By now the customer is fine. Thanks again. Daniel

Thanks for keeping us informed. It would be interesting to know if all the third party controls used by CRM application are working fine on windows 8. So please keep us informed of any issues reported by customer.
