In recent QAD versions, the customer invoice print is already converted to Report Framework. If you plan to upgrade in the near future then you will have the invoice print in the right format so you can further design the layout with the designer tool.
In general, a progress program can only be used as a datasource for Reporting Framework when it has a specific structure and includes that allow to interface with the RF rendering components. You really have to get specialized training to learn how to do this. Please contact your account manager if you are interested in getting such a training.
