Hello,

Our Company is still working with het MFG Pro version: 9.0.

About this version, I had a question. If you see on menu: 3.1.2

(I am sorry that I cannot ad a screenprint somehow)

But If you see in this menu, below you see Status RES. Some specific Articles within our Organization need to have a permanent RES status, because the appear very often. When they are produced, and sent to the WareHouse, they get the status WH. Then a Colleaque needs to change this by hand to RES. Sometimes he forget's this, so misstakes happen.

Where can we adjust the settings for these specific Articles so, that they wil get automatically the status RES?

Is that posssible and when Yes, how can we do that?

Does anyone knows how?

In 1.4.1, or 1.4.5 or 1.4.16 if you have multiple sites you will see a field called WO Receipt Status. Set that to RES and set Active to YES. This will set the status to RES regardless of the status set up on the location. However, this does not always work. For example if you already have some inventory in that location for the part (And lot if using lot/serial) and it has a different status, but from what you say that should not be the case

We are a USDA regulated food company with lot controled items. We use the set up that Phil has described and it works for us. Our problem is that when we DO product to our warehouse, the status gets changed to the status of the warehouse location. We actually had to write a customization to revert the warehouse status back to the WO receipt status.
