How Can I remove / Fix the Expiration Date

I have an item in inventory that erroneously was classified as Lot Control item, I removed the Lot Control and shelf Life from the Item Master and from item-site Inventory Data Maintenance. The system is still showing the expiration date 1/22/2016. How can I delete the expiration date if there is no LOT NUMBER ?

Removing it from the item master has no impact on any existing inventory. You will need to use 3.1.2. Just put in the part number and then you can use the arrow key top move to each record and go to the expiry date field. Then type in "?" this clears the date. You will also need to "move" the inventory using 3.4.3. Select the record and then in the "TO" fields make sure the lot/serial is blank. Actually as you have already set the flag so no expiry for the part any more you should do this step first, I think it might even remove the expiry date. If not then use the 3.1.2
