Problems copying/pasting into excel

We recently upgraded from MFG/Pro 9.0 to  QAD 2014 EE.  We  have had some users complain of issues when running a report, selecting all, copying and then pasting into an excel spreadsheet.  For some users, when they paste into an excel sheet it will output into just one cell, not allowing for any formatting to happen. Has anyone seen this issue? It is only happening for some users.

It seems that if these users paste into word first and then copy and paste into excel, it works correctly. Does anyone have a better fix?

I often cut and paste even if there is a csv available because it gives me more control. Just copy it into excel and then on the datatab click text to columns and then you will get the same screen as when you import data and can divide it into multiple columns and control how each one is set up. Very useful is you have a column that has numbers that begin with 0. If you leave as numbers you lose the 0 but if you set the column to text it will keep the leading o's
