Transfer full pallet to packing area and pick partial

The customer does not have a picking area, the fork lift pick the whole pallet  and drop on packing area, always pick more quantity than needs.
Is it possible to transfer more material with out change the pre-shipper quantity? becouse when I confirm the total pallet quantity to transfer the pallet, the system change the pre-shipper quantity.

Are you referring to AIM (WMS from QAD)? It is possible to confirm you moved more than needed for the order/picklist. Up0one collection you need to inform the system that you indeed moved more goods than needed. The quantity will be updated and on confirm the extra qty is also shipped. These are all settings. Does this help or are you looking for another answer?

Thanks for the answer.
But, I wouldn't like to ship the extra quantity, the extra quantity must stay on packing area, and when a create another pre-shipper I'll check the packing area first to see if some material are available.
