Postingline Transaction Id's master table

The field PostingLineTransaction_Id in the PostingLine table appears to be a link to a field in some other table. If so, which table is the master table defining all allowed values of this field?<br />

If not, then please confirm it is just a field where you can enter your own numeric transaction number in which is not validated by any other tables.

I have the same question about another field in this postlingline table, PostingLineMaster_Id. I see nothing in the docs that tells me where this value comes from.
